Photo Friends

Before I go any further, I should probably stop and tell you about our amazing photographers. It might go without saying, but photography was a top concern for Mr. Beagle. In my biased opinion, he's one of the best photographers I know, but unfortunately he couldn't photograph his own wedding.*


Justin of Studio Vérité and Craig of Craig Watson Photography are really good friends of ours. Mr. Beagle has worked with both of them, they are trained photojournalists, and we've known both of them for years. We often stay with Justin when we are in Chicago. Craig shot Mr. Beagle's sister's wedding. 


When it came to hiring our own photographers, we have no shortage of photographer friends. One of our friends was Mr. Beagle's groomswoman, another was our reader, and a third set up our photobooth. It was a hard decision but we are so happy we hired Justin and Craig.


Justin shot me getting ready, and Craig shot Mr. Beagle. Together they tag teamed our portraits, ceremony, and reception. They were both amazing, doing crazy things to get some great shots. And because they are our friends, we had a blast with them. 

And toward the end of the night, they were able to hang out and party with us. They even jumped into the photobooth. Photogs taking photos of themselves. Awesome.

*Although he did shoot our engagement.
