So we decided to take shots in Lake Shore East Park, a little known park near the lake sunken below street level. It's just north of Millennium Park and is surrounded by residential high rises.
It ended up being gold. Mr. Beagle and his groomspeople arrived first. A few minutes later I arrived with my brideswomen and hid near the top of the stairs. When Mr. Beagle was in position, I popped out and ran down the stairs into the park.
This was the first time he saw my dress. I was really nervous whether or not he would like it.
It turns out he did.
And while I had seen Mr. Beagle's wedding ensemble before, I have to admit, he had never looked so good. I couldn't keep my hands off him.
Our friends wanted to snap a few pictures first. Louis Lane sent pictures straight to her mom from her cell phone. But trust me, we did have professional photographs.
We got a mix of posed and candid shots. Luckily the sun had a slight cloud cover, so we got pretty, indirect light.
